Comfortable Camping Vans

Our vans are Toyota Hiace, short wheelbase, petrol engine (2 ltr and 2.4 ltr), manual or automatic. You can choose two or three seats. All our vans have air conditioning, a cd player stereo and power steering. All the vans have a driving range of easily 500 km per tank of petrol. Depending on driving conditions and style of driving, 600 km is possible.

Easy to Drive

Being short wheelbase vans the overall length is around 4.7 metre's with a width outside of around 1.6 metre's. The size of a medium car. Inside is a 1.3 metre wide double bed of 2 metre's length with almost a half cubic metre of under bed storage.

All Cooking Equipment Supplied

There is a mini kitchen which has a removable chilly bin / ice box, single burner gas cooker, small basin and pump tap with 20 litre fresh water and 20 litre waste water storage. There is table setting of plates,mugs, glasses and cutlery for four persons so you can still be hospitable even when compact. Cooking pots and equipment is also included. A section of the bed can be lifted to provide a convenient table.

Camping Safety

For safety all vans are fitted with an easily accessed, multi class fire extinguisher.

Extras

We can provide sheets, duvets, sleeping bags, pillows to keep you comfortable. An outdoor table stand and chairs are an option for enjoying New Zealand's outdoor environment and space.
